Sweetness

One of the tougher times of parenting I've found is when the boys are sick and so am I. At a time when I'm least able to give, they need even more than usual. We got colds coming into this week, and when the boys get colds, they usually have a couple bad nights of coughing. Last night it hit Drew and he was pretty upset a couple times. The second time I brought him down to sit together on the couch, after a little while he turned to me and said in his little raspy voice "Hi Mommy. I love you." And somehow it's not so bad.
